Matthew Schane

BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT REP

Born and raised in Oklahoma City, Matthew developed a deep passion for sports, particularly baseball. This passion led him to earn a baseball scholarship and pursue a Bachelor’s Degree in Sports Administration, graduating from Belhaven University in 2008. However, after sustaining a sports injury during his college years, he developed an addiction to alcohol and opiates, which consumed the next 15 years of his life.

In April 2019, Matthew made the life-changing decision to seek recovery, and since then, he has dedicated his career to helping others who are struggling with addiction. Today, he is honored to be part of the Business Development team at Texas Recovery Centers, where he has the opportunity to support individuals on their journey to breaking free from addiction. For Matthew, helping others find hope and healing is not just a profession it is a privilege.

Jessica Mathson is a Clinical Liaison within the Business Development Team at Texas Recovery Centers. Her role involves building strategic partnerships and guiding patients through every step of the admissions process, ensuring they feel supported and understood as they embark on this important journey.

The restoration and healing that come from completing substance use disorder and mental health treatment programming go beyond an addict’s wildest dreams. She is deeply committed to every patient considering treatment at the facility and continues to positively challenge them, helping them realize they too can achieve happiness and success in life.

Christopher was a mental health peace officer for most of those years. He served the last four years on the Police Outreach Services Team (P.O.S.T.) where he implemented a jail diversion program and a homeless I.D. program. These programs allowed him to become a referral source for the addiction treatment industry, helping nearly 250 people into substance use and mental health disorder treatment. This is where he found his true calling. He also served as a certified Texas TCOLE instructor, specializing in teaching crisis intervention. As a result of being affected by substance use at a young age witnessing parental consumption, Chris is extremely passionate in assisting those who battle with drug/alcohol addiction.
